It’s a great restaurant, no one can deny that. To go on Tuesday night and finding out the restaurant is completely full and even when we made a reservation, we had to wait for about 20 minutes to be seated.But after I got a little sour of the waiting, the food, the atmosphere and the service just made me forget about it.There is huge variety, and everything is fresh and the presentation is mind blowing.We used to live close by and were going there a good lot. Now that we have moved to Leander, we are coming a lot less but still making the drive.

The 2 who ordered the omakase (for 2) looived it! (And they know fish, and sushi). Surprise to us visiting from NY. Also myself as the vegetarian was super pleased and overwhelmed at my options to choose from at a Japanese restaurant. Typically in the US, this has not been the case for me (just few standard rolls and edamame). I didn't get the vegetarian omakase bc I was afraid it would be too much food for me. The 5 dishes I tried were excellent (except the trumpet mushroom nigiri piece). The fried brocolli katsu was heavenly and usually dont love fried food. They this place and you won't be disappointed!

Incredible sushi. It has to be one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. VERY costly but I’d recommend the happy hour if you want to go more affordably (still around $70-100 a person though!). Left hungry but happy. Can’t wait to come back!! Just know you’re paying for the experience and quality, not amount of food

Best sushi I’ve ever eaten. Creative. Flavorful. Delicious. The only complaint I would make is the sky high cost, but you get what you pay for.

Simply amazing! One of the best food I had around! So simple but so good!The atmosphere is amazing, super chill and friendly server - perfect for a brunch!The side dishes are fantastic - fried pickle… WOW!Super recommended!

Incredible! We are vegan and they were not only accommodating, but every dish was amazing and served to perfection! Beautiful, flavorful, and complex in every bite. We celebrated our 9 year anniversary tonight and they surprised us with multiple items based on what we liked. Our waitress Kat was lovely and the bartender (I didn’t get their name 😩) was wonderful too. They both recommended sakes that we thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t wait to come back for the next occasion or just because 😏😉

Very impressed with this outstanding sushi stop. Cool and small outdoor scene - weirdly basic table seating indoors but amazing sushi bar setup. And then there is the food!! As good as I’ve tasted in London, Tokyo or NYC. Creative, fresh and flawless. Well trained team make suggestions or allow you to make all the choices. Will return. PS. I've yet to have a bad meal/experience at any of the Uchi locations. Service was great. Food is always fantastic. We came during happy hour so we expected it to be busy. Food still came out at a steady pace. Desserts were phenomenal per usual. I always try to dine at Uchi whenever I'm visiting Texas.
