    What makes it fun

At Tsuke Edomae, we take great pride in the preservation techniques of Edo-mae sushi. Customers can view and understand sushi through a craftsman's eye and find out what it means to him personally. This isn't just food, but rather the chef's emotion put onto a plate. That's why we are so dedicated to our craft, because guests from all around. Reservation required.

Phenomenal service! It was such an amazing experience. This is my favorite omakase by far. The sushi was crafted with such care and attention. The rice was so so good! The combination of techniques and flavors really made the whole service so special. This place should be on everyone’s shortlist for Austin!

Been coming to Uroko for over 3 years now and there's a reason why we keep coming back - the food is always great. We've done omakase a few times and the temakis to go probably 30+ times 😄. So much respect for the Chefs who are so passionate and dedicated. Wish them continued success.

This was the best dining experience I’ve not to mention the best sushi I’ve ever had. Mike is an artist, excellent host and am amazing chef. It’s an amazing deal for what you get too!

Mike is not just a chef but an artist. I have never seen such passion from a sushi chef before. The details he puts in the entire experience was something I’ve never had before at omakase. The fact that his sushi rice has to be used within 45 minutes and if it’s longer than that he will throw it away. I could literally taste every grain of the rice. The fish itself were so fresh and well prepared. This was a super intimate setting with 8 seats only. If you get the opportunity to score a reservation, don’t miss out. It’s something you’ll probably see once.

There are already many reviews about the quality of sushi that Chef Michael prepares. What I want to focus on specifically is Chef Michael himself.Very rarely have I met someone who has the level of dedication, passion, and humility that Chef Michael exudes in his work.No detail is too small for him. Every ingredient is thoughtfully sourced, prepared, and served. From start to finish, he’s filled it with intention.Chef Michael is a gifted storyteller. He can teleport you to different core moments of his life that culminate to him preparing each individual bite.If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation, he will truly nourish you and your soul.I’m envious of those who will get to experience Tsuke Edomae for the first time. You will undoubtedly have one of the most enjoyable dinners of your life here. We’ll remember this experience and cherish the memory for a lifetime!P.S. He hates boba, so you’ll need to go somewhere else for that.

Best sushi experience I’ve had. Chef Mike is a character, but his preparation of his fish and rice is no joke. It is all so simple, and so so delicious…. Trust me, you want to go. Just know that it’s not going to be for at least 4 months.
