Food and service are fine but they let the worst singer in all of Austin perform during the week. You can hear this clown from a mile away. He sings in a cheesy, country tone but will play Brittany Spears or Nelly in his country tone. He will play until 10pm almost every week. Super loud and super Terrible. Get this guy out of here and this rating would improve.

We went while bar hopping Rainey for a friend's bachelorette party. We sit in the lounge area, a waitress comes over and takes our drink order. We wait 30 minutes before going into the bar area to ask about our drinks. Mind you, they're not busy. It's a Saturday night but there is plenty of space at the bar. Our waitress is dancing and socializing with patrons, and when we asked her she apologized and said someone else probably ended up with our drinks. Weird, fine, stuff happens. We wait another 15 minutes, finally the drinks come out, along with a free round of shots. I talked with who I think was the manager and he said the shots he'd sent out would be free and he also comp'd another shot I was getting at the bar, which was appreciated. There was some confusion from the different waitresses on whether or not the cocktails would be comp'd as well but we were done at that point so we paid and left. Also be warned they automatically add a 20% tip to every charge! All in all the manager was nice, but he needs to hire better staff it seems.

Edit: for 2024 they now added horrible "live music", which doubles as a late night nuisance for my neighbors.

Drinks are very average and overpriced. $15 for all cocktails. They require minimum $30/person order, and force a 20% mandatory service charge. The service sucked, took 10+ min every time we needed a waiter to get something. Music is extremely loud, so it's impossible to talk.

Date night with the hubby and all I can say is, WOW!! The drinks are TOP NOTCH! The bartender really paid attention to detail and was super friendly and inviting. The atmosphere is such a vibe! This place is a must try!

The Tipsy Alchemist was our second spot on rainy St. and we absolutely loved it here!
Very chill, nice view up top on the balcony. And the free popcorn was the best! Our waiter was really nice, she kept our refills coming. I recommend ! 💕🇨🇱👏🏼🍹🍸
