We absolutely LOVE doing events at The Riley building. The staff is beyond amazing and helpful every time. Every floor is unique and ready to transform to your vision and lets not forget about the AMAZING AirBnb next door. We recommend The Riley to every client and looking forward to doing more events in the future. Thank you for always being the absolute best to work with.

We recently hosted a corporate event at The Riley and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. With a guest list of approximately 125 people, we were in need of a versatile and accommodating space - and The Riley exceeded our expectations. From the moment we began planning, the staff, including Brandon and Satchel, were nothing short of phenomenal. Their attention to detail, proactive communication, and dedication to ensuring our event went off without a hitch was truly commendable. They went above and beyond to meet our specific needs.

The Riley's ambiance was perfect for our event. The layout provided a dynamic space for both networking, breakout sessions and presentations, striking an ideal balance for our corporate gathering.

Working with Brandon was so easy! I had my birthday party there and his team was A+. Always available to answer questions, one of his team members Satchel even backed out my planner's car when she was nervous to drive through the alley, talk about going above and beyond! Brandon seemed just as excited for my party as I was :) My friends and family loved the space, especially seeing my birthday graphic on the side of the building, that was such a fun treat!

I had a fantastic experience with the staff at this venue. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and went above and beyond. Their professionalism and accommodating nature made the night.
I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a memorable event.

I was given the absolute honor and opportunity to plan and throw the biggest birthday ever here at the Riley building. Every one that Brandon brought on board was amazing. From the production, to the rental company my boss had one of the best birthdays ever. With a combo of the Riley and the 3 floors @Riley house it was epic . We managed to surprise her 5 different times and with local entertainment from some of the drag queens and also a cover band. Any normal person would have thought I had lost my marbles when I first met everyone at the Riley, because I had some wild ideas and they all came to life. I highly recommend both the event spaces and the Riley house btw. The Riley house Is like being in a real world house so get ready and bring your friends ! The Riley Building was a perfect fit for our intimate Indian wedding. My sister stumbled across the Riley Building after a long hunt of small venues across the greater Austin area, however, the pictures online of this specific venue with its perfect rooftop view of the city, was an option potential candidate. It really fit our desire to host something classy but cozy at the same time. What sealed the deal was Brandon. He offered so much flexibility with set up, worked with our budget, and ensured us that the venue would work perfectly for us. After seeing it set up, it truly was a dream come true. The backdrop of the city was immaculate and we got lucky with wonderful weather that evening. Though, not to worry, Riley has a convertible rooftop and heating if needed. The venue also provides chairs and tables that were no extra cost to us. Riley Building also provided an additional staff member to host our guests at the door and to assist in any technical changes we needed (lighting, roof top). A few things to keep in mind, they have a small garage for parking, but it's a tight space, there's no heating/cooling space for food and beverages, and no dining service staff. This worked perfectly for our event, so it was fine, but for those who need more assistance, that might be worth considering. I would rate the service and building a 5/5. We LOVED it!

As a wedding photographer, I've worked at the Riley building a number of times. The venue has a cool industrial feel that is unique in Austin - there's nothing quite like it around here, and the location can't be beat. While there is a lot of flexibility in terms of setup, with multiple available spaces, the real prize is the rooftop deck with amazing views of the city, which can be open or not depending on weather - a fantastic feature.

But what I'm really here to review is the incredible staff and planners, who are head and shoulders above other venues in this or any area. Behind the scenes, they are so invested in making sure the couple is happy and stress free and that the guests have FUN. It's not just a cool venue in a great spot, it's the whole package. Highly recommended!

I had my wedding at The Riley October of 2021. I booked the venue Jan 2020 when they had just been opened. Since the beginning Carly was very helpful and communicative about details and timeline. As the time approached she stayed in contact with my wedding planner to get everything in order for the day of. She was also instrumental in making things work the day of when my wedding planner and I hit some snags with vendors. All of this was super important as we were planning the wedding from out of town.

The venue was perfect for what we needed. We had about 120 people. The ceremony was held on the rooftop and then we transitioned to the dinner on the second floor, and finally the rest of the reception was on the upstairs. There are some amazing views of the city on the rooftop which are perfect for pictures and just beautiful lighting. The second floor has windows all around which also have some great views. We were going for the more industrial/minimalist style so we used up lighting for the majority of the wedding and it was perfect.

Overall it was a great experience at the Riley, with Carly and definitely a unique, affordable place in downtown Austin!
