Delicious,upscale, and fine dining. Right by The Clock Tower on UT... Great for date nights. ADA wheelchair accessible...friendly staff...parking gets validated from the hostess (great perk) gaint yes for eating after a UT game...just walk on over or watch it at the bar. I recommend everything in the photo.
I had dinner here last night, one of my best experiences dining experiences in Austin. I didn’t know this ahead of time, but they offer a prefix menu for $45 that includes a starter, an entrée and a dessert. I came there for the New York strip, which I had last year, that was part of the prefix menu with a $10 supplement. I had the crab duo for an appetizer a date had the wedge salad. We both had New York strips and desserts. Everything was cooked perfectly, presented beautifully and everything was very tasty. Zero complaints on any part of our dining experience. Looking over the menu, there were many options that were equally as appealing as what we picked, I would definitely make this A regular dinner stop for me. Probably the best value, high-quality dinner in Austin.
The Carillon is one of our favorite restaurants in Austin because of it's wonderful food, excellent service, and calm, elegant atmosphere. It is an outstanding value, as high-end restaurants go, with its 3 courses for $45.
My friends and I went tonight for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday. The atmosphere was exquisite, staff was impeccable, food was amazing and the Manager Elliot was so awesome!!!
For the dining experience we had, they should be charging 2-3x more for their food and we would gladly pay it.
It is a small restaurant so reservations are needed to make sure they have availability.
I highly recommend The Carillon Restaurant, it’s truly a gem. We will be back very soon 😋
We were here a few years ago and it was just Ok. Today, our way to a Post Malone concert, we to tried it again. Wow! What an improvement! First, all staff from the front door to the hostess and host to waiter and his assistant were as polished and have ever experienced anywhere. The charcuterie and cheese board was varied, fresh and very good. Marmalades, cheeses, cold cuts crackers, dry figs and gherkins a good mix of flavors and textures.
The wedge, carpaccio and pork belly well executed and delicious. As for main dishes the NY strips were flawless and perfectly medium rare. Deserts also beautiful and delicious. I hear the chef used to work at Uchi if it’s true, it explains a lot.
This is must visit and a place that will likely see me visit often. Sorry for the incomplete dish images, we had a concert to get to…

Great restaurant right below the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center… walking distance from any UT building, especially from McCombs school of business. Really good breakfast and delicious lunch. Never disappointed me. Con: 20% service fee confused me the first time but nothing serious to deduct a star.
