What makes it fun
The James D. Pfluger Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge is a shared use bridge for pedestrians and cyclists spanning Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin. Completed in 2001, the bridge connects the north and south shores of the lake and the Ann and Roy Butler Hike-and-Bike Trail and was constructed with an unusual "double curve" design. Boasting fantastic views of the city skyline during the day and at night with especially exceptional views at sunrise or sunset this bridge is a local favorite. Popular with tourists as well this bridge offers the opportunity to get that perfect postcard photo of the city in the background of any special moment you choose to capture!
