    What makes it fun

Pace Bend Park has over 9 miles of Lake Travis shoreline. The west side of the park features tall, limestone cliffs and rocky coves with incredible views of Lake Travis. Most of Pace Bend Park is accessible by vehicle. The interior of the park, however, is a wildlife preserve and only accessible by foot, bicycle, or horseback. Enjoy the romance of nature with your sweetheart at Pace Bend Park.

Excellent swimming and the water was clean. Even though the water level is down it’s still a great place to go . With the heat in Texas I could of stayed the whole week. It was nice .

They won't let you camp on the sand flats anymore. The whole eastern side of the park is day use only now. Very very sad for us. I've been camping on the flats for 25 years+. It's the only place on the lake you can camp right next to the water when it's this low. Some of my best memories were night fishing on that beach. Now my kids won't be able to experience that....without being able to camp on the flats, it just becomes a typical park that you can camp half a mile from the water. This is so frustrating. Sooooo many good times on those flats. Feel like my kids just lost out on so much. Don't California my Texas.

We pitched a tent and camped here for two nights in March and it was GREAT! Our spot #12, had everything we needed for a great stay. Grill, picnic table, parking spot, excellent power situation, fire pit, water spout for dishes and a flat, dry spot for the tent. This spot was far away from the restrooms so that no one really bothered us during the night.....but the walk wasn't so far that it was a pain to walk that way when we needed to. Highly recommend. Hope the pics help!

Great little restaurant. We were seated very easily outside and their backyard lot is probably enough to give it 5 stars alone. They did a really great job making it look professional. In addition, they have 2 playgrounds for kids as well as a bonfire for the night. They had stand-up kareoke too. The pizza was good as well. I ordered the Outlaw (pictured below) and the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. They were a bit small but they tasted very fresh. The pizzas came out relatively fast too. It was definitely an outstanding experience with a very community-oriented feel.

Love it here! It’s beautiful, peaceful, and great for swimming, floating and grilling. We have 3 dogs and they love it there too. I’ve also gone cliff-jumping there as well. One thing to know, however, is that the signage at the park isn’t great, so the maps at they provide at the entrance aren’t all that useful. I highly recommend plugging a specific location you want to go to in the park (e.g., Kidd Cove) into googlemaps and using that to navigate. Also, make sure to bring cash to get in, and it’s good to have a tent there too, since there’s not much shade.
