What makes it fun
The Mueller Sunflowers are recognized as the largest art installation in Austin. Constructed in 2009, the installation was created as a combination of both art and technology. Each structure is topped by several solar energy panels which not only feed energy back into the Austin grid but also power the blue, ethereal lights fixed to each structure creating a nightly light show which is breathtaking.
