Mount Bonnell, also referred to as Covert Park, is a popular destination along the Lake Austin area of the Colorado River. Friends, lovers, tourists, hikers and everything in between have been venturing up the stairs of Mount Bonnell since the 1850's. Mount Bonnell offers an outlook for soaking in the great city of Austin, serene lake views, and the neighboring hills.
