Upper falls are not flowing and lower falls is just a trickle. Definitely wouldn't swim in any of the water. However still an awesome place to hike

Don’t come to this location. The falls have STOPPED flowing you can no longer swim, the water is green and stagnant. The park ranger Gastapo man and his young female accomplice should go be police if they want to be detectives go solve a real crime, giving me a Wrongful use ticket for parking in a shaded area for 15 minutes while I took my things from my vehicle looking for my kids snacks. F your ticket I flushed it down your toilet y’all lost a customer Annual pass and every person I come across I will tell them to stay away.

A perfect place for a walk, a short walk. But in summer it is too hot and less water.

I love this state park. 💞 I have been coming to hike and am exploring the trails. 🚶‍♀️ Love what I have seen so far. Onion Creek trail is kind of paved so it's a very easy walk. The Picnic trail is nice and short and it goes to the lower falls if you care to go for a swim. They have lots of picnic tables with water close by and a grill to have a great picnic or cook out. They also have campsites and cabins. It is a must visit if you like parks and camping. 😊

They offer a lot of hiking options, and one of the falls areas allowed swimming. Super fun place to spend a day, even with kids. They also had staff on site checking the cleanliness of the bathrooms during the day, not just after closing(I watched them doing rounds). That was impressive. My only gripe is that they closed their visitor center early. The sign said they were open until 4pm, and I was walking up at about 3:50 and it was already closed down for the day. That was a bummer. But this was otherwise a solid place to visit.

Lin Asian Bar + Dim Sum is a real treat! They have a small patio, but it works for outdoor dining which is a definite plus in our current times. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful explaining the menu. The lunch menu features a more expansive selection of dim sum than the dinner menu, although the restaurant’s “greatest hits” appear on both. The soup dumplings (xiaolongbao) are a standout, as are the beef potstickers, egg rolls (that apricot dipping sauce!), and scallion pancake. The bathroom set up (gender neutral and completely accessible) is great for families (and anyone really). We also shared the orange peel beef. Although the meat was very good, it wasn’t as spicy or flavorful a dish as we were expecting. Overall, this is a great spot for dumplings and other dim sum goodies. Recommend.
