Honestly a great Asian/Texan fusion, they did a solid job using Japanese ingredients without destroying them. As an Asian American my favorite thing was eating texas bbq with white rice here. Yellowtail collar was our favorite thing, would’ve tried the tuna collar except they sold out.Imo eating family style works best for the portion sizes, price and portions also pretty good totaling about $50/person.Minor food critiques: Generally on the salty side, and brisket at 9pm was on the drier side (miso bbq sauce made up for that)

Kemuri was perfect for our group. Food was amazing and beyond timely. Cocktails, apps, and main courses were all one of a kind. Our server, Jason, was top notch. He was so accommodating and unflappable with our 10top bachelor party. Thanks guys!

This place is a must visit! A beautiful atmosphere and amazing food. A local gallery owner recommended this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to get seated in the room with the kitchen in a very comfortable booth.Our waiter was really friendly and knowledgeable and highlighted quite a few dishes.The corn bread, brocollini, brisket and burnt ends were all top notch. The sting ray jerky was unique, with a sweet taste.

We tried a bunch of the items, including the tuna collar. Some of them were pretty good, but some of them did not suit our taste. The dishes are definitely very fusion-y. I liked the fish tempura, broccolini, and corn the most. The tuna was okay but was a bit too smokey for my taste. The service was very friendly and all the food came out relatively fast.
