What makes it fun

Hops & Thyme is a neighborhood bar and restaurant with a full scratch kitchen. We have craft beers on tap, cocktails, nightly specials and live music every Friday and Saturday. Come enjoy the gorgeous views of Lake Travis while dining inside or out on our large patio. Our menu is inspired by local farms, fresh ingredients and scratch cooking techniques - we even make our own ketchup!

Loved the food. The host was warm and made sure that we were taken care of properly.The highlight was the awesome mocktail the bartender made - just asked me what kind of flavors I liked and worked their magic.The food was delicious! We went there for lunch and sat outside. It was the perfect view and setup.

I brought my 1-year-old kid there and they specially prepared chicken and orange for her. They even removed the membranes of the orange. The staff was super welcoming and sweet, and our server was amazing. It made my night and I loved my dining experience there!

Absolutely love this place!! One of the best / beautiful patios around the area. The owner, Eric Von Witbeck is very welcoming and the staff are just as amazing.Add an amazing beer + whiskey selection, AWESOME LIVE MUSIC, and food that will bring you tons of gastronomical pleasures...this place is 5 stars in my book! Oh yeah, dog friendly to boot!!

Great place for food and atmosphere. The food was EXCELLENT! Definitely high quality gastro pub fare. Had the Brussel sprouts and cornbread for starters and Fish and Chips. All were fantastic. We brought out dogs, sat on the patio and there was live music (extra bonus for supporting musicians!!) Our waitress was new but very attentive despite the crowd and really looked after us.
