Our dishes allow us to explore and leverage the presence of fire in our food. We have a custom 20-ft hearth that anchors our kitchen and dining room and we use it to its full extent for this purpose. In addition to offering customers soulful menu items, Hestia prides itself on our robust wine program featuring over 250 bottles.

Third time and just as charming. Really enjoyed the newer fusion inspired menu items compared to when I was here more than a year ago. Did the 12 course taster which ended up more like 14-15 with neat surprises like extra bites and palette cleansers.Scallop in wagyu tallow (not pictured) was melt in your mouth amazing. Their halibut is still the MVP in that dashi butter, amazing. No joke, best bread course I’ve had in a taster, with the fruit pate, butter, and this really unique “mesquite tea.” Kept the Texas hearth fire concept and added some flair, I dug it.The cold smoked salmon dish and persimmon dessert weren’t my liking but I appreciate the efforts on both of them. Part and parcel of a multi course, you’re not going to love everything.Alexis and team did a wonderful job of making me feel welcomed, top tier service. There were a two tables near me that were being ridiculously loud but you get that at any smaller space downtown.The only restaurant I’ve been to in town so far that I feel deserves their Michelin star 👏

James was our server and was an absolute delight- everything was amazing. We did the 14 course tasting menu with wine pairing. We expected each course to be a small bite for that many courses- but most were so big! We will definitely be coming back every time we visit Austin.

Menus was a little overwhelming (not the price but the way you have to choose food) but we managed!Food was out of this world and the servers was on point! Never let our glasses go below half empty! Beautiful location and the dining room was gorgeous! Loved the explanation of everything! We will be back again! Thanks Colleen Craig for the recommendation to this wonderful restaurant.

Just, wow. I recommend this place with every fiber of my being. I expected good, but this was great!The service was impeccable. The staff was extremely educated and helpful, while staying quietly attentive and patient.The food though, oh my! Creative, interesting, original and the tastes were out of this world. The snacks were packed with flavor and intriguing. The scallops in beef tallow were just too good, so we ordered a second round!This has been my favorite dining experience in Austin to date. I've been to so many places, high end, low end, low key, pop up, and everything in between. This one had it all. Ambiance, class, tasty libations, great music, wood fire smell, and a very interesting design.Drinks were on point, the food blew me away, and the service was exemplary. The care and love for what this team was doing was palpable. Kudos!I hope we can come back soon.To the staff, thank you for the evening!

Wow! Hestia ranks in the Top 10 meals I’ve had in recent memory. We opted for the chef’s tasting menu. Even though we had 1 gluten free and 1 vegetarian, they accommodated us amazingly without skimping on quality of ingredients or taste. Service was impeccable from all staff members. Hestia is upscale without being pretentious. Every course (out of 11 total) was amazing in its own right. We spent $215 per person including tax and tip. Worth the money for special occasions.
