let’s put it this way. when i turned 21, i went on the “Texas Hill Country Wine Tour” (s/o to Katy Jane Bothum) and after visiting about 14 wineries over the course of two weekends - yes, i know… far too many - the choice to join Driftwood Estate Winery (DEW) was a NO-Brainer! best wines. best staff. not to mention the GORGEOUS view overlooking the actual vineyards. unbelievable how much they have been able to grow their business without sacrificing the quality of the wine and the patient, wine-loving, cheerful embracing style and attitude of their staff. a staff that i’m proud to call friends.fast forward over a decade and im now 34 and haven’t even considered ending my membership because of how much i love them and their dedication to their craft.

Stopped by Driftwood Estate Winery today and I have say, this place is setup really nice. As I walked in I noticed there was a restaurant on my left. I walked over there first and there are table under the huge Oak trees or to sit and eat or I could sit in the open air pavilion. I saw people sitting in both places. The tasting room is was to my right as I walked in. I went inside and the people were really friendly. It's 20 dollars and they have a long list of different wines to sample and of those a person has to pick 6. Or, I was told I could get a bottle of wine and glasses and sit in several places outside. The tasting room has table under the Oak trees as well along with a large pavilion. The place is on a hill so beside the nice breeze there's a great view if you sit outside.

LOVE the sunset dinners, the general atmosphere of both the bistro and tasting room. Staff and food AND wine are fabulous! One of our "happy places".

Loved the rolled ice creams at this food truck. Appreciated the work put in to prepare these delicious rolls. Our group got the mango, this ice tea and Thai coffee flavors. All were super awesome. The portion sizes are huge too. Be ready for a wait, but it's worth it!
