What makes it fun

Chapel Dulcinea sits daringly on the cliff side of an ancient walking trail, on the Wizard Academy Campus around 20 minutes southwest of downtown Austin. A wedding chapel is the perfect emblem of how equal-but-opposite perspectives don’t have to unify into the somber, dead grey of compromise, but can be pulled together to create the incredible electricity that flows when polarities are brought in direct proximity. These paramount ideas and others are woven into the physical site, the architecture, and the name of Chapel Dulcinea. It is the owners gift to the world because it is a symbolic expression of who they are, and the values for which they stand. Chapel Dulcinea is a statement of beautiful dreams and total commitment, the preeminent ingredients of “happily ever after.”

The reception for my wedding was held in the veranda room. We had 45 guest attend and the venue was able to comfortably seat everyone along with our cake table and the Sweetheart Table! Joe and Indigo were the coordinators for the reception venue and they were able to answer every question I threw at them. I am so happy with the way my wedding turned out and would recommend this venue to anyone who’s looking to have a small, intimate wedding with 50 or less people. The property is all around just very romantic, has beautiful views from every angle. Being able to walk from the chapel directly down to the Veranda room and kickoff our celebration with friends and family was absolutely amazing. Also the stairwell located inside this venue was great for our bridal party photos as well as the bouquet throw off of the little balcony. Also, such a great sound system was included with the veranda room, and for our bar and our buffet tables setup, they all fit perfectly outside in the patio area. 10/10 for this wedding location, 10/10 for communication and coordination with Joe and Indigo, and 10/10 for the scenic views. 10/10 for vendor recommendations from the veranda room!Thank you for such a beautiful and intimate wedding experience.

My wife and I got married on December 2, and we booked the Veranda Room to host our reception for up to 50 people. We held the reservation 13 months in advance and tagged it along to our chapel reservation. The staff answered all our questions leading up to the day of our wedding day and were very accommodating to the wedding party and our guests. We liked how personable they were to us even when they generally have multiple weddings a day. When you book the Veranda Room, it also includes tables, chairs, and a good selection of linens that suited our wedding theme. We loved that the courtyard space conjoined to the Veranda Room was also included. We greatly appreciated that they set up and tore down the space and cooperated with our room arrangements. We also used the projector for a photo slideshow of our guests. Speaking of our guests, they commented on how beautiful the venue was and felt they were not close to Austin but in a different oasis. The venue offers free parking but it's on gravel and easy to locate if you're using a ride share app. My wife and I look forward to coming back on our anniversary or a spontaneous visit throughout the years to come. We loved the way that this place looked and was captivated by how it made us feel.

We had visited this venue a few months before our wedding and fell in love with the chapel. We just HAD to book it for our wedding. Well, we got married in October and it was absolutely stunning, beautiful, breathtaking, all of the above!!We had our family fly in from Ohio (12 guests total) and this was the perfect size for our micro wedding. They all loved the venue and had nothing but good things to say!We 1000% would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a smaller wedding. Mainly for the beauty of the chapel and views, but also you can't beat the price!

I knew I wanted to get married here before I even found my forever. When she asked this summer, we booked the chapel the very next day. Super affordable.Staff is so kind and accommodating without ever “breathing down your neck.”The view is one that is hard to compete with as well. It was like a dream. We got married at 7 pm and the pictures we took right before and after are breathtaking. So much so that someone asked if our photos were photoshopped like that. (We toured the chapel at noon the day of our wedding and the views were just as pretty though! It was was my in-laws first time in the hill country and their reaction to the view was so wholesome. Pictures can’t really do it justice.)We rented chairs and to my surprise, they were set up for us well before the ceremony. We decided to have our “first dance” at the chapel after everyone left to drive over for our reception dinner, and the staff member took the chairs while making sure that we knew she wasn’t rushing us out!I wish we could get married there every single year. Our deepest, most sincere thanks to the staff at Chapel Dulcinea for making our day so special and stress-free!
