    What makes it fun

This park is set around a 38-acre lake with a surrounding 90-acre park that offers many recreational opportunities. Park facilities hike and bike trails, nature trails, pavilions, picnic tables with BBQ grills, sand volleyball courts, a canoe/kayak launch, fishing pier, wildlife observation area, labyrinth, and skate park. Needless to say there is an adventure here for everyone.

What a nice park! Love the trails, the lake, and the open expanse.I saw bikes on the dam, and you can even fish at the lake. There’s a playground and volleyball net too, and a pavilion with picnic tables. There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of parking though, just a couple small lots.

I didn't know that I lived for years just few miles from this beautiful place! Nature here is amazing all around this lake..which is large as 38 acres..in a 90-acre park. Very quiet and nice for a variety of activities..hiking in a natural trail, bike trail, exercise station, playground and for fishing too which is very regulated, with all the pictures and information about the wildlife and types of fish and birds in this area. The parking also is large enough and in many locations...so this is definitely one of my favorite places to visit more often. Also, it seems safe and secure...we can see families all around the lake.

Really big area. The walkway down to the lake is gorgeous, filled with wild flowers and was amazing. Saw lots of people biking, walking, at the playground and splash pad. Very fun and peaceful place

Nice park for a casual walk around that offers kayaking, SUP, sand volleyball court, and picnic area, and nice sunset views around the lake! Glad to have this around for local residents. Dog and kid friendly. Along with plenty of parking spaces around.

We went kayaking here for the first time here July 2022. It was very calm water. If you set out to kayak all day, you could easily go from one end to the other. There are points where the water gets stagnant, but as long as you have bug spray, you should be safe. Lots of fishing enthusiasts on the water as well. Don't have to worry about swimmers or boats on this tiny lake.

Love this place! Sunset walks at this park are always fun, especially after a hot sunny day. The park gets a bit busy, but never too crowded. The walking/biking trails are wide and easy to navigate too. Great place to adventure outdoors and get some fresh air.

Beautiful lake and a park filled with wonderful amenities. Perfect for a family outing...we walked on the trail and enjoyed the lovely scenery. My kids enjoyed the play area as well as the open spaces. There is also a water fountain area that was closed during winters but will be loads of fun in summers. There were some nice spots for pictures. There was also ample space for larger group get-togethors. The park was also very well maintained. It was overall a great experience. Highly recommended!
