At Augustine, we value guilt-free fun. We created our handcrafted cocktails to thrill your palate without compromising flavor for calories or carbs. We are the healthiest Rainey Street bar and also the tastiest! Augustine is in Austin's famous Rainey Street area. This lovely mansion was built by Augustus Basnett in 1889. Each choice made when transforming this historic property into a tavern was authentic to its heritage. Augustine represents Austin, our wonderful city. Friendships in a relaxed but refined, enjoyable setting with 300 days of sunshine.

Drove in Saturday to celebrate a friends bachelorette party on Rainey and this spot was the one for us. The drinks were great and worth the price, the back area was setup with games and a dj that kept us going. I liked that he was interacting with the crowd and giving the spotlight to the ones celebrating. The cool part was requesting a song and getting this response. “sure but can I remix it my way.” WOW! is all I can say and it was impressive hearing him mix songs you would never think sound good together. Great job Wizard!

Ridiculously great drinks. As the bartender says, they are “balanced”. Plenty of alcohol and outstanding flavor! Absolutely a must go-to for Rainey Street!!

One of the best bars on Rainey street! The drinks here are quite good and they’re also not overly priced for the quality that you get, like many other bars you’ll find on Rainey. The bartenders were also very quick and this place has lots of comfortable outdoor seating that is doesn’t make it feel overly crowded. Overall, a great place to grab a cocktail on a night on the town.
