A must stop location of Austin is the Auditorium Shores. An extremely popular place for some of the best concerts, festivals and events of many kinds. A pristine destination for a stroll on a nice day, flying a kite, cartwheels, a healthful jog, or letting your furry friend explore freely (if they’re friendly). A perfect place for a beautiful, relaxing day with friends, family, or your sweetheart.

One of the best places to see downtown Austin. A great place to throw the frisbee. Exercise, meet with friends, relax, start an adventure, hit the hike and bike trail and many more activities can be experienced here.Austin has a traffic problem. Unless you plan to visit at an obscure hour. Save yourself the stress and come here on foot, bike, ride share, bus, magic carpet, scooter. Anything is better than a car. Unless you enjoy spending time circling around looking for one of the very limited parking options. Parking or the limited availability places to park, ( especially on weekends and special events ) is difficult for most of the downtown attractions most of the time. Auditorium Shores is an extreme example of this fact of life in Austin Texas.You could probably use the exercise anyway, do yourself a favor and visit here without using a car. You will be rewarded with a wonderful experience.

Auditorium Shores is so beautiful, what a great place for The Austin Food & Wine Festival.The Austin Food and Wine Festival is an all weekend long experience with some of the best weather Austin has to offer. Sip, savor, mix and mingle your way through many of the country’s top wine, spirits and culinary exhibitors. Eat & greet with top chefs serving samples of the dishes that put them on the map!

The best 4th of July celebration in Texas. The fireworks where amazing some of the best I have ever seen. That plus the orchestra playing during the show is just one outstanding experience.
